On the road day 1

Today we began our 3 day move to Florida. Today we drove from our sweet little Starr Street house through Iowa and down through Missouri. We stopped in Kansas City for some lunch and to stretch our legs a bit. 

We were so sad to leave Nebraska and all the people we've come to love so much. But we are really excited for what's to come !

Our drive today was pretty fun actually. Our stop in KC was great. We stopped at the plaza and ate lunch next to a big ole' fountain which Liam loved. I caught him throwing his chicken strips in the fountain, but all he kept saying was something about ducks. When he grabbed the entire basket of bread I realized he wanted to feed the ducks like we did at the zoo last week. Only problem: no ducks. He was a little hard to convince, but he decided that penny's were just as good. 

It was a fun day and everyone was pretty happy in the car. So cheers to at least one good day on the road and hoping for more. 

Tomorrow is Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee!
