Liam's 2!

So, this post is a little late. Liam's birthday is in February, but with a new baby it never made it up. I had to post it though because he was so stinkin' cute!

Liam is 2 and boy is it showing!
Liam as a 2 year old:
-his number one favorite thing to do...escapes from the house! He has finally figured out ALL of the locks. H's good at waiting until he's out of my sight then dashes right out. It's great fun!
-he laughs like a crazy person
-Curious George is his favorite. Grandpa Jones says he talks just like him :)
-he loves to be outside
-he loves to splash in water any time any where.
-he has added a few more words to his repertoire: "go", "yeah", "wow", "choo choo", counts "1,2, tee!" (he's not a huge talker yet. Working on it.)
-he is obsessed with "choo choos" and trucks, especially semi's. He points and says, "oo, oo" until we acknowledge that he saw one.
-he's crazy about balloons
-he has an attitude, but he's tons of fun so what can I say.
-he could watch Toy Story 1,2, or 3 like everyday. So, naturally we all have them memorized.
-thanks to his super Aunt Kenna's Christmas present he can say all his vowels. It is pretty funny to watch him. He screams them all, cause no boy ever talks in a quiet voice, and then we beg him to do it again because we think it's so funny that a two year old knows his vowels and no other letters.

-he's getting super independent and wants to get his own snacks etc. which many times has led to Brocken eggs and an entire bag of raisins gone. Oh well, that's what I'll laugh at when he's 19 going on a mission and I miss him like crazy.

So the reason, besides memories for later, that I had to post this was because of the balloons. We played a games before his birthday asking him what he wanted. We would say, "Liam do you want a cake for your birthday?" and he would say, "NO!". This continued with presents, games, toys, and anything else we could think of and he said "NO" every time except when we asked him about balloons. To that he always said "yeah". So that's pretty much what we gave him since that's all he wanted. And when it came t o his b-day that was all he really cared about. He carried them around all day. And I mean all day. This video shows that pretty well:
