The day before my mom sent us an anniversary package. It was so CUTE! She sent us Ghirardelli Chocolates (San Francisco chocolate), Almond Joys, and a towel cake! That may sound weird, but it is so fun. My mom always makes a cake out of white dish towels for bridal showers she helps with. Since she didn't throw my bridal shower she made me a mini one. It even looked like my cake. I was so excited!
We spent a very nice day celebrating. Tanner was so sweet and got me beautiful flowers that morning. Yellow flowers are my favorite. 
Later that afternoon we were able to finally make it to the Winter Quarters Temple. It's neat to have a historical temple as ours :) Afterwards we went to a really nice fun Italian restaurant in Omaha that reminded us of a little place we went to on our honeymoon in San Fran. Tanner splurged a little and got a seafood dish because it is his favorite, but we decided after we ate it that no matter how well it was cooked we are just too far away from the ocean to get the good stuff. 
It was a wonderful day!
